Alameda Bar & Grill - appetizer platter & huevos rancheros, maybe Santa Fe pizza.
Blue Hawaii - pupu platter, though might not taste the same unless the place is, as the C-J critic declared, “decorated by Tarzan on an acid trip”.
Brasserie Dietrich - steak au poivre.
Butchertown Pub - chili (Thai & Indian places, at least around here, have nothing on this dish for heat).
Champion BBQ - addictive dry ribs, rare style around here it seems.
Fat Cat's Deli & Pub - best gaucamole I ever had.
Fresher Cooker - Benedictine sandwich with alfalfa sprouts.
Garrett's Steak House - best baked potatoes I ever had.
Lotus - War sue gai & their amazing hearty eggrolls with chunky sweet & sour sauce from the 'ketchup' squeeze bottles.
Lynn's Paradise Cafe - pecan crusted chicken in bourbon cream sauce.
Masterson's - Greek spaghetti
Nermana's - chicken goulash
Pigasus - various BBQ
Ray Parrella's - HOT bruschetta I didn't have to scrape tomatoes off of.
Tedesco's - spaghetti & meatballs
Thatsa Wrapp - not sure if originated locally, but the Asian Crunch wrap dug grooves in my brain.
Tumbleweed's - while they're still around they long ago abandonded a menu anybody cares about, so I vote for the open faced Tex-Mex chiliburger.
