Favorite dessert places

by TracyBasham » Fri Sep 12, 2014 10:05 pm

Hello. My name is Tracy and I have a serious sweet tooth. :D
My husband & I like to stay on top of the 'go to' places for the best sugary delights out there. Ive had tasty desserts at several of the area restaurants but sometimes just a quick trip to a bakery or to a small sit-down type coffee & dessert location hits the spot.
Having tried the following, can you help feed my addiction & list any I need to check out & what you liked there?

Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen
Comfy Cow
Ghyslain
Sweet Surrender (LOVE the mocha concord)
Plehn's
Nords
Heitzmans
Krispy Kreme (but only when the sign is on)

Our favorite dessert in town is at Selena's, they have the most wonderful Bread Pudding with bourbon sauce that I've ever had!

:D Thanks!
I do have a very popular Marker's Mark (tm) bourbon ball brownie. And for the remainder of September and October I'm offering caramel-chocolate apples with either a white chocolate drizzle, pecans or crushed Oreos. The truck will be at Saturday in the Park (Central Park) next Saturday.

Has anyone been to Cake Flour since it moved from NuLu out to Holiday Manor? I used to love it, but its new location isn't in an area where I often find myself, so I haven't tried it out yet. Their desserts are awesome, though, so it's probably work the trek.
