The Cochon 555 Heritage BBQ tour will come to Louisville’s 21c on Sunday, Sept. 7, from 4-8 p.m. The local-food focused BBQ tour invites five local chefs to join in competition to promote heritage breed pigs raised by regional family farms.
This year’s chefs are Tyler Morris of Rye, Levon Wallace of Proof on Main, Brian Enyart of El Camino, Jeffery Dailey of Corbett’s and Ryan Rogers of Feast BBQ. Each chef will be given a 200 pound heritage breed pig to create six dishes that will be rated by a panel of 20 judges.
The event features over 1,400 pounds of heritage pork to feed 450 guests. General admission tickets start at $100, and VIP tickets for early admission are $200. To purchase tickets, visit http://cochon555.com/2014-tour/louisville/
