Asiatique, August Moon on Louisville Life tonight

by Robin Garr » Thu Dec 13, 2007 12:49 pm

Announcement from KET:

Tonight at 7:30pm on KET2 Louisville Life dishes on both August Moon Chinese Bistro and Asiatique in our new "Dining" segment!

It’s been a part of Louisville’s restaurant landscape for 20 years. August Moon Chinese Bistro is a dream fulfilled for Malaysian immigrant Chef Peng Looi, whose eateries include the equally lauded Asiatique. In this Louisville Life segment, we explore why his restaurants are such favorites among Asian food fans.

This story also includes interviews with food critic Robin Garr (http://www.louisvillehotbytes.com) and Mimi Ha Dabbagh, managing partner at August Moon.

Also in this program, it's around the world in 30 minutes as we jet across the ocean to see what lessons Louisville can learn from the Irish. Plus, we visit the Americana Center - a local community center that serves our growing international community.

Claudia Peralta-Mudd, international program specialist for Metro Government and local entrepreneur (Caffe Classico), is our in-studio guest.

This internationally-themed edition of Louisville Life airs tonight on KET2 at 7:30pm and again on Sunday at noon. You will also be able to stream the program online starting tomorrow evening, where it can be viewed indefinitely. Web pages with images from tonight's show are already online.
