Small bites on Bardstown Road?

by Deb Hall » Mon Jul 14, 2014 11:57 am

We are child-free this Monday evening ( unusual for us) and having date night. :) We thought some small bites- potentially at more than one place- along Bardstown Road would be the perfect evening for this suddenly childless suburban couple. We are limiting our alcohol right now, so cocktail or wine -focused places won't do. Suggestions ? I already thought of Roots, Heart and Soy- maybe the patio at El Camino...

Thanks!

Asiatique has just gone over to an all-small-plates menu, and it sounds awesome.

Cocktails and ceviche at Seviche have to be on the list. Maybe an app on the rooftop bar at Monkey Wrench.

Great idea, all- thanks so much! Keep them coming.

We've been to Seviche and El Taco Luchador together several times, the others would be new experiences. I've also got to think about where places are in relation to each other on Bardstown Road for walking- for some reason I still have a hard time envisioning it as a whole, as we tend to drive in and just stop at one place.

I will second Asiatique, Deb. They've always had a nice selection of small plates, but now they've gone full bore in that direction, as Robin said.

Thanks, Antonia.
Turns out Monkey Wrench is closed on Mondays. We are going to start out at Asiatique and work our way from there. :-)
