Little India is moving

This has been mentioned in other threads, but now it's actually happening.

The original Little India location has closed, and they hope to open Friday in their new space at 2956 Richland Ave. That's just north of Taylorsville Road, around the corner from Baskin Robbins.

I think there used to be a soul food restaurant at the Richland location. It's a good deal larger than Little India's old space, but much less visible. I hope this move turns out to be a good decision for them.

You could almost call it "Outer St Matthews."

I love the place, but hate negotiating Hikes Point. Perhaps because a friend was killed at the intersection some years ago. I agree that it will be much easier getting to the new place. I hope they do very well, the owner is a very nice man!

Yup, you could practically walk there.

But seriously, from ye olde Henry Watterson at least, it'll be nice to not have to negotiate the whole Breckenridge-Taylorsville-Hikes inTRIsection... unless, of course, I decide to hop on over to Louisville's biggest Kroger.

It is now open. Serving a buffet lunch from 11 00 to 3 00 and dinner (not a buffet)
