Madeline,

Morris' Deli has Father's Country ham sliced by the lb ( and a great country ham sandwich), and you can buy the whole beautiful ham from them too.

If you are looking for restaurant use, I highly recommend talking to The Curehouse/ Woodlands Pork. Chef Jay Denham's pork is exceptional; his country ham is essentially incredible Kentucky prosciutto. jay (at) cure-house.com. If you use it , I'll come special just for that. :D

Thanks! Deb, I tried the cure house link but it appears the website is no longer available. Are they still in business? We are going to try Morris's deli today.

Madeline,

I noticed the same and changed it to Jay's email. They are definitely in business, but relatively new under the Cure House name. They are artisan producers ( not Marketers) so it looks like they registered the site but haven't built it yet. http://www.starchefs.com/cook/photos/ch ... isville-ky

I had their Woodlands Pork and country ham again at Metropole in Cincy a week and half ago, and it was just outstanding!

They are definitely still in business. I was over there just they other day helping Jay a little bit. They were recently picked up by Creation Gardens for some distribution so you could try there.
