The best barbecue sandwich in the US is served in Louisville

by Mark R. » Thu Jun 12, 2014 5:07 pm

At least if you believe Restaurant Hospitality magazine! According to them Down One Bourbon Bar in downtown Louisville serve the best barbecue sandwich in the nation? Here's the full story: http://www.bizjournals.com/louisville/news/2014/06/12/this-louisville-restaurant-has-the-best-barbecue.html?ed=2014-06-12&s=article_du

I've never had theirs but I certainly find it highly unlikely. It's probably the matter of having the right PR person in the right place at the right time! If anybody here even tried the barbecue there?

To the restaurants credit, they don't call the sandwich "Barbecue" Per the menu (and it sounds -very- good) it is:

Three Little Pigs- Roasted Pork Belly, Pulled Pork, and
Bacon on a Soft Roll with Mustard BBQ, Pickles, and
Slaw 8.99

The writer needs to go back to BBQ school.
