Oh, I LOVE this.

The Wrench is always a fun place to watch the World Cup. And this menu is just delightful.

I should mention that I'm also a BIG fan of watching World Cup games in the appropriate ethnic setting. Chapinlandia for Guatemala, for instance. Any taqueria for Mexico. And, of course, Palermo Viejo for Argentina!

That Honduran place on Taylor for the Honduras games. There used to be a Columbian place up by Westport Village, too. Maybe that Bosnian Joker bar on Bardstown Road by the Bushel bypass for the Bosnia Herzegovina games.

La Colombiana is gone. <sob> It was a great place, run by a really nice family. It's Hay Chee Waa Waa now, which is okay Tex-Mex and also a friendly family, but the loss of La Colombiana was disappointing for sure.

I knew that, was bummed about it, and evidently repressed it. Now I get to be sad about it again.
