Just wanted to drop a note and say how much the hubby and I enjoyed this experience. We had the good fortune of being seated with Barrett from Founders - we learned so much and we had a great time. The beers were awesome - I especially liked the Rubaeus Raspberry Ale, Mike preferred the Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale. As for the food - outstanding menu from top to bottom. The 1st course brat w/onions & red pepper coulis was the perfect kick start and paired beautifully with the Centennial IPA. We were most curious about the Shrimp & Strawberry Gazpacho and considered, at worst, it would just be a palate cleanser. It was delightful - cool and tart with just a hint of sweetness, paired with the Raspberry Ale it was refreshing and tangy! The Main course put the biggest smile on Mike's face - Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale and BBQ Pork Ribs with the most delightful sauce - hints of mustard, pepper and smoky/tangy. The sides were stand outs as well - bleu cheese apple slaw & baked cavatappi four cheese casserole. My crappy phone pic does not remotely do it justice:

We wrapped it all up with a warm Banana Bread & the Founders Porter. Yum!
Looking forward to the next beer dinner & hope the rumblings of a fall match up with Founders does come to fruition! Thanks to the awesome team at Varanese for great night!
