Restaurant memories. My family loved Chicken Trail Inn and Melrose Inn.

Nice article. Thanks, Ellen! I think most of us remember the Melrose Inn, which lasted into recent times. I know it was still around in the '80s, as I reviewed it then ... anyone remember for sure when it closed?

I don't remember when Melrose Inn closed but I do know I loved going there for breakfast and they replaced it with an absolute eyesore. RIP
