I happened to wander onto Main St in Middleton this afternoon. I hadn't been there in quite some time. What an adorable street that takes you out of Louisville for a moment and places you in small town Kentucky ambiance that seems to go under the radar screen for the most part. Plump Peacock opened about 2 months ago in an old stone cottage just below Main St. behind the Lemongrass Vietnamese restaurant.
This little gem has a nice pastry selection and serves breakfast and lunch. I can see myself taking a few strolls in that area as the weather breaks.
