Good news. It looks like they are adding a patio out front. The place is always so packed, they could use the extra space. But, it appears that families will have to walk through the bar to get there. If this is the case, is that allowed in Indiana?

Lisa, I think there's a reasonable standard of exception for supervised minors:

MINORS ALLOWED ON PREMISE?
Minors under 21 are not allowed in bars or taverns, except if 18 or with
parents expressly to dine.

As long as the walkway and the bar are physically separated, then they can do this. Separation can be anything as simple as a rope creating a barrier between the two spaces.

Well, as fast as it went up, the patio awning frame was removed. No awning was ever installed. Anyone know why?

It was taken down to resize, patio will be officially open within next two weeks.
