So. Indiana Restaurant News: Cuban, Asian and more booze

by Jeff Gillenwater » Fri Dec 07, 2007 3:49 pm

Today's New Albany Tribune mentions two new establishments and one old:

A Miami chef is bringing Cuba-Libre to an old Tumbleweed location in the Knobs, downtown New Albany is getting The Orchid Asian Cafe, and the recently reopened South Side Inn is applying for a liquor license.

Good stuff, thanks for passing it on, Jeff.

The Orchid Asian Cafe

Hey! I wonder if it's Thai? The orchid, as I understand it, is the symbol of the Thai royal family, and Asian restaurants with "Orchid" in the name are usually hinting at a Thai heritage.
