Anybody have a favorite restaurant when it come to prime rib? I'm craving some, but don't want to spend Ruth's Chris kind of dollars for it or have to dress up.

We used to have family gatherings a Logan's Roadhouse on Dixie. They do a decent prime rib on Saturday's and maybe one other week day.

Take a small container of real butter with you. Their fake butter spread is not good.

If you don't already have it on your "To Do" List, better add Going to Dinner @ The Coach Lamp to it this weekend!

We are featuring Bone-In Fried Chicken (white & dark meat) with Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and Biscuits as well as Oven Roasted Prime Rib w Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus.

This was just posted on the Coach Lamp's FB page. Might fill your need!

J Alexanders is always good for prime rib, and has a nice atmosphere to go along (and won't break the bank). You do not have to dress up there (although some do).

Since the cut is naturally tender, it's hard to go wrong with many chains who have good slow cookers and holders (I'm thinking Outback Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn) which aren't much less than J Alexanders but not as nice (albeit somewhat more casual)!
