Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras: Post events here!

by Robin Garr » Tue Feb 18, 2014 5:56 pm

If you got 'em, post 'em! It's okay for restaurateurs, GMs, chefs, or fans to post info about Mardi Gras events in this discussion. Just post a reply, and take care to change the subject line to reflect your restaurant.

(Also, if you are pasting in a news release, please delete the PR hype and just give us the straight facts. Thanks!)

Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras at Cafes Lou Lou!

by Marsha L. » Fri Feb 28, 2014 6:42 pm

You know Cafe Lou Lou (both locations) is in on this! We started our celebration early today, and it continues through Tuesday. We're serving Jambalaya, Crawfish Etouffe, Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, my special King Cupcakes and Hurricanes by the batch (Hurricanes available only at our St. Matthews location). The servers are in costume, and the zydeco music is rockin'.

Join us! Bon Carnival!

We've been going for about two weeks now at the UofL J. Gumbo's, but we kick into highest gear tomorrow.

$2 Dixie beers, $10 Abita Sampler Buckets (we've got the full line, everything that is available in KY including the 22oz. Abbey Ales and Andygators [$6]), Frozen Hurricane fishbowls!

Andouille Hoagies on Monday, Seafood Gumbo on Mardi Gras day! Cajun Cornbread and Gambino's King Cakes!

Tons of great giveaways! Live music 6-9pm!
