Chinese New Year starts Jan. 31! Year of the Horse!

The Year of the Horse? If we can't make a Louisville celebration out of that, we aren't even trying!

I wonder if any of our local Chinese eateries will be doing anything to celebrate? Back in the day, Ms Wang at Emperor of China used to do the whole big Lion Dance thing, but that hasn't happened for years. And I recall the chef at Peking something in Springhurst did a big banquet one year mostly for Chinese, but we were able to sneak in with a friend.

So, maybe Peking City? Anybody got anything on this?

We've seen signs at several of the local Chinese restaurants advertising the start of the Chinese New Year and Peking City was one of them. Didn't get any specifics on what they will be doing however.
