Masala Grill now open downtown

by Rich S » Tue Jan 21, 2014 4:11 pm

When I drove by today I noticed that Masala Grill had opened. It's at 528 S. Fifth St., between Chestnut and Muhammad Ali. From the outside it looks like a fairly bare-bones operation. Its website says it's open for lunch only, Monday-Friday, and specializes in "traditional Pakistani food." The menu is short, but looks interesting. It's always good to have a new dining option downtown.

Googling that address suggests that this is a former Fat Jimmy's and former Queen of Sheba? Could be more than one entrance at a single address, though, I guess.
