Cordish Settlement Coming...

by Alan H » Mon Dec 30, 2013 12:11 am

I know this has been discussed on here previously.....I have worked with several people that have worked in these bars and am curious on how this is going to play out.
The comments about the employees credibility from the Cordish people are sketchy.

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

4th street is a failed idea. How do we as a city get out of this? I know how we got into it...

I worked at the Sports and Social Club and the Department of Labor investigation was actually started by a complaint by me. The credibility of some employees shouldn't be an issue, everything they are alleging happened at the Sport's and Social Club, and I heard of it happening at the other bars ran by ECI. They always made servers and bartenders work off the clock to promote. I don't know about clocking out to do sidework, but it wouldn't surprise me.
As to how it will play out, ECI and Cordish will probably settle as they already have a proven track record of doing this.
