Here's my big question: Can I get this menu late night?

Two questions:

1. Do you sell gift cards?

2. Is this strictly 21+ , or can my 14 year old eat there, too?

Allana...
We definitely sell gift cards and without question your 14 year old can eat there as well. For those who haven't been to Monkey in awhile, seeing it transform from pretty much strictly a bar into the restaurant crowd we have now is pretty incredible. We do still have a late night bar crowd so I would suggest a standard dinner time for your 14 year old.

Adam...
We serve the full menu until midnight every night.

The menu sounds great. What is the history of the Monkey Wrench? Why did you make the changes and what are you going for with this fabulous new menu.

Went to Monkey Wrench tonight with a friend and had great food and service. Fried green tomatoes, grits, fried chicken, BBQ shrimp, all excellent. The cornbread is seriously outstanding, the best I've ever had, and the grits are loaded with creamy, cheesy, goodness.

If anyone hasn't tried it yet, go.

We went by the Monkey Wrench a few weeks ago when it was really, really cold. I'd been there for beers, but hadn't ever eaten there. Frankly I never gave the place much thought until I read the reviews here on Hotbytes. And the food was great! I had fried chicken and grits, and they were fantastic. The decor was very nice, too. Just a really good addition to the neighborhood. We will definitely be back, and have been telling our friends. Good luck!
