During the day I take care of two little boys. Their lunch -as designated by their mom - is sometimes left overs from the previous nights dinner. (They eat out a great deal) Today I saw another white, styrofoam box in the fridge so I thought I'd check it out to see if it was something suitable for their lunch. I found what looked to be 5 or 6 , heavily breaded, chicken tenders. I thought that after reheating them and knocking off some of the excessive breading I'd have a pretty good lunch for the boys if I added some carrots and fruit. I reheated the "tenders" then went to work removing much of the breading. I found, in about 6 tenders MAYBE 1 oz of meat. The rest was fried chicken skin. Gross, curled fried skin with lots of corse crumbed breading. I have never seen such a disgusting mess. Did they think , because it was going out to kids, that no one would notice?
I asked the mother where the chicken came from.
"Cheddars. Yeah the kids did not seem to like it much. "
I guess not.
