Does anyone have any suggestions for anywhere to eat some exotic meats in louisville? I know about alligator at joe's ok bayou and bison is pretty easy to find but i'm looking for something like kangaroo or wild boar or ostrich.

at 614 Hausfelt Lane in New Albany, 948-9118.
We haven't been in a while but at one time or another my wife and I have bought bear, beaver, kangaroo, elk & ostrich. They'd had alligator and lion meat but we never tried those.

Jungle Jims in Cincinnati would have all the items you're looking for -- makes for a nice road trip! When I was there last year, I saw alligator, elk, kangaroo, rattlesnake, ostrich, bison, venison ... probably lots more.

Was there last weekend, and they had FRESH elk - steaks, sausages, and racks!

I would think a wild boar might be wildly boaring, but definitely boorish. Is there a local place to recommend for such things as crawfish (in season, of course), turtle, or more exotic seafood?
