Interesting...Milwaukee's Best I can understand...but Labatt's Blue ? Canuckastani everywhere are in a panic.

I can attest to the MGD. Can't give it away. Mich Ultra and Heineken should be on that list too.

I don't feature many domestics on my menu, and this is mostly why. Even college kids know NABC's Naughty Claus or BBC Bourbon Barrel Stout is better than to Milwaukee Beast. The average beer drinker is far more savvy than they once were.

I wonder how much of this is just due to poor marketing. When I was in college in Illinois in the early 1980s Leinenkugel was akin to Milwaukee's Best (the beer you bought when you couldn't afford anything else). We could get it for $2 an 8-pack. Now it's being marketed as a craft beer.

There was a period of time...early 2000's when Leinie actually put out some pretty good beers, their "Autumn Gold" (which they no longer make, I'm told) was pretty high on my hit list. Most of their selection now seems to be geared toward fruity-fizzy-silly stuff.
