I certainly agree with Jay about needing information as to where the chef and bartender actually work. I saw the listing of the nominated restaurants when it was posted but didn't bother voting. It seems like the editors who did the nominations need to get out of town a little more, with the exception of Feast all the restaurants nominated are within a 2 mile circle! While they are certainly good restaurants there are many others just as good or better in the area they got totally neglected.

I was surprised to hear that eater is still around, by the way. I thought they might have shut it down when they let the snide kid go.

He oughta buy some Google, Apple, and Amazon stock while he's back there working in 1999.

I gave him as hard a time as anyone, v.v. Eater Wonka, but fair's fair: When our battle royale with the Floyd County Health Department was at full blast earlier this year, he was on top of it and kept on top of it. Any moment now there'll be a ruling from the state AG's office, and even though Z's gone, it goes to Eater first. Like I said: Fair's fair.
