Hell, I thought it was the same place as the trailer on Bardstown Rd that everyone is familiar with it. Just noticed they are spelled differently and are probably not the same.

I'll give it a 8/10 for the pastor and chorizo tacos.

Tacos are $2 each.

Sorry I only ask because I havent eaten at either one, so was hoping to read more of a review from you. I have noticed some graffiti painted trailer on Bardstown Rd at the Dairy Mart in the Highlands. Is that the Bardstown Rd location you mean? I have no idea what they are selling or what style of food they are about as I dont read graffiti.

I've discovered there is a taco truck - Santa Fe Tacos, that parks at the Triple Crown Car Wash on weekends. The car wash is located at the La Grange/UPS drive, really close to the little strip mall where the Guanajuato stores are. Open Saturday at lunch, and into the night. Not a huge menu, but good Carne Asada tacos. :D

Just an update...

He's ridiculously busy. You better get there early in the evening. At 11:30, he had already run out of everything except pollo. During my five-minute wait, I counted no less than seven cars that pulled up.

The Latino community is full-force behind this man, for a good reason. My chicken tacos were SO worth the $2.

And he's a really good person- just very, very sweet to everybody.

If I was a betting man (and I'm not- I play poker) I'd say this is a keeper.

Just FYI they don't open til like 7pm (at least they didn't this night) so don't come by at 6 with a car load of hungry people expecting normal dinner time take out.

Edited to add....

OH MY GOD! $2 for those huge tacos filled with awesomely spiced amazingness?
We got two each (pollo, asado, chorizo and al pastor). They came with salsa, sour cream, and loads of fixings (lime, lettuce, cheese, onion, cilantro).

Total came to $16 but we felt he put some much attention into the meal we handed him a twenty and told him to keep it. This place is a steal!

This place blows both Manny & Merle and El Camino and away.

The only drawback are the later opening hours.
I eat, therefore I am.
