Occasionally, Mariachi bands will play at some of the Mexican restaurants around the area. A band was to play a few months ago at our local El Nopal in Sellersburg, but they canceled. If anyone sees a promo somewhere...sometime... would you mind posting it??

Lisa, will do, but it might also make sense to pick up a copy of El Dia or one of the other Latino papers if you're around an eatery that has them on a rack ... even if you don't speak Spanish, chances are you'll be able to make out the key words on an ad or something.

I think the El Nopal on Watterson Trail has a Mariaci Band every Wednesday or Thursday. I can check Monday and post.
