LEX - Chef Ouita Michel opens Smithtown Seafood

next to W 6th Brewing...

Stop by our newest restaurant, Smithtown Seafood, now open in downtown Lexington at 501 West Sixth Street.

The menu includes catfish, flounder, shrimp, FoodChain tilapia and oyster dinners and sandwiches, with the seafood prepared how you like it. We also serve fish tacos, fish nachos and fish pupusas.

And our name might say seafood, but we also have great burgers and hot dogs! For vegans, we offer "Jack Crab" salad rolls.

You can carry out or eat next door in the comfortable confines of the West Sixth Brewing Co.

We're open our regular hours now, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.

This really makes West 6th even more of a destination!

I love how they are doing this. Being as sustainable as possible. Left over Ingredients from the beer go to the fish. Water from the fish go to the plants. Beer, plants and fish get eaten. Voila!
