Holy Cow Steak

Had a guy come to my door from Holy Cow Steak out of Frankfort offering to sell steaks. He said he was at the end of his run and had some extras. Has anyone heard or know anything about them? Seemed very strange.

Not -too- much of an unusual occurrence...although usually it's the seafood guys from down around Pensacola/Gulf Shores doing the selling. I've probably had door knocker food salesmen with a similar story beat on the door a handful of times in the past 10-15 years.

Guys that ride around in a F150 with out of state tags and a chest freezer in the bed of their truck that generally prey on stay at home moms in the more "uppity" neighborhoods like Hurstbourne, Lake Forest and Springhurst are a common sighting. But personally, I would avoid them like the plague. Lord only knows where that stuff came from.. :?

I would put them in the same category with people who knock on your door and offer to repave your driveway because they've got some road tar left from their last job. :P
