October 14th at Clifton Pizza all-you-can-eat fundraiser

by Margie L » Thu Sep 05, 2013 7:34 pm

HOOF, a 501(c)3 charity, is having a fundraiser at Clifton Pizza on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 5:30-8:00 PM. The Mission of Horses Offering Opportunities for the Future, Inc. (HOOF) is to provide disadvantaged or at-risk youth constructive activities that teach stewardship of the horse and encourage community responsibility. Clifton Pizza has been kind enough to provide the venue with an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet and soft drinks for only $12, with 1/2 of the money going to HOOF.

On a personal note, I have worked at several of these camps, and you can't imagine the response from the children. One previously abused child said that she "loved" the horse she had been responsible for all week. Not an especially notable statement until her counselor told us that was the first time that she had ever heard her say that she loved anything or anybody.

For tickets, PM me or email Diane at director@hoofky.com

Thanks Robin for letting me post here!

Had a great time tonight and ate WAY more Clifton's Pizza than I ever really should. The baby boy even ate an entire slice by himself (he's 1)!

Thank you Clifton and HOOF for this tremendous event! A great time was had by me!

Ronnie and family are totally awesome, as are Clifton Pizza and Bill V., for supporting HOOF. And the pizza was amazing. I ate way too much, but not so much that Bill and I couldn't go across the street to Comfy Cow for dessert. :)
