How is Milkwood doing? I haven't been, but from what I've heard, it seems like it's probably the best incarnation of that space. I had a friend who worked at Downstairs at Actors, but don't remember anything special about it. Everything I've experienced in that space has been kind of blah. I've always felt like it could/should be a really cool place with the right person in charge.

Hmmm ... we have a Lowe thread underway!

Milkwood is quite nice. The space is beautiful and very carefully thought out. The food is perfect - not quite tapas, but smallish plates. I think it's safe to say it is the best Actors restaurant ever. And I don't blame the past operators for anything. Chef Lee just brought a different vibe to it.

Milkwood is one of the top 5 restaurants currently in the city and probably in my personal top three.
I eat, therefore I am.

I'm on board with that. Top five for sure. Three is a constantly moving target.
