Bazo's downtown is one of my favorite lunch spots. Eat there at least once a week. Super nice folks too.

I'm glad Robin has reminded people of Bazo's. I've been going there since the days it was on Wallace Avenue, and it's always offered good food and good service.

I "accidentally" had Bazo's blackened tilapia in my burrito yesterday. Not a huge fan of fish and all the tilapia I've tried in the past as not to my liking but OMG this stuff at Bazo's was awesome. Just the right amount of heat. Terrific texture and taste too. I might end up with a new favorite.

The "bazosgrill.com" link at the bottom of the HB article is returning a 404 error.

The people who run Bazos are really nice. I stopped in Monday night and spotted their current special (BLT Burrito), and asked if I could get one without the 'T' (tomatoes give me heartburn). He offered to put in just about anything else in their place. I chose green peppers and black beans, and the final product worked really well.

They carry more than just the Mexican Coca Cola - they have a mix of unusual soft drinks displayed at the register. At least one of the ones I have tried is a seasonal item, so it is always worth checking to see if something new has come in (or come back).

I think it's just a defective link in the louisvillehotbytes article (hopefully Robin can fix the link).
The link at the bottome of the LEO version works just fine.

... and yes, the BLT Burrito is delicious, even without the "T"! :D

Oddly enough, the link works just fine on my Mac. Maybe it's a WIndows thing?

I'll try re-setting the link in the original article anyway, hoping to clear up the error even though I can't replicate it. :)

Try it now. All should be well!
