We still have some room for more golfers!
For those of you on the fence, in addition to our Scholarship Fund which we have raised over $5,000 for in the past two years, a portion of this years proceeds will now be earmarked for Chef Eugene Bell and his family, whose home suffered a pretty catastrophic fire earlier this week. For those of you who don't know him, Chef Bell is a Culinary Instructor at Sullivan University and is the ACF KY Chapter Chairman of the Board/Past President. He has been instrumental in coordinating student volunteers for many of the charity and Chef & Child events I've been involved with. Needless to say that Chef Bell and his family will be displaced for several months while they restore his home and they lost most of their personal items as well.
With this in mind, I'm still looking for donations of gift cards/certificates from local restaurants and businesses for the raffle. No donation is considered too small. Please consider helping us out with this worthy cause! My contact information is listed at the beginning of this thread if you have donations that need pick-up or if you have any questions.
