Need a Company to mail bourbon

by Deb Hall » Fri Aug 02, 2013 11:49 am

All,

In Kentucky, Bourbon qualifies as food, so I'm posting this here. ( feel free to move it Robin. )

Does anyone know a licensed dealer who can ship bourbon Interstate, who would be small enough to help with a special order? My company has created a lovely gift bottle of Woodford; we have a custom copper plaque that goes on a standard bottle 750ml bottle. I want to give these as prizes to the winners of a game at a tradeshow in September in PA, and then in the future to other states. It is illegal to ship alcohol except by a licensed location- this is to prevent minors from receiving alcohol.

What I want to do is send a number of our copper plaques to someone who already sells & mails Woodford, send them my plaque and a thank you note, and have them stick the plaque on a bottle and mail it to my mailing list for a fee. It does not matter where the dealer is located as long as they can mail to the US.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Deb

Deb, Westport Whiskey and Wine has a license that allows them to ship wine to other states. I have used this service to ship fine bourbons for birthdays and Christmas gifts.

That's exactly who I was thinking of what I read the 0P. Besides it's a local company which is always nice.
