Varanese Restaurant to Host Jazz Concert on August 6
Varanese Restaurant, 2106 Frankfort Ave., will host a jazz concert by Jeff Sherman and his students on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m.
The end-of-semester concert will include performances by two "Mainstream" ensembles and two guitar ensembles, made up of approximately 30 musicians ranging from intermediate to professional. Jeff Sherman has spent his professional life performing music. He has taught jazz, classical guitar, and electric bass since 1973, and has toured with Marvin Gaye and The Saints.
