So, who's been to Game? How have your experiences been? Similar to ours, or different?

I have not been yet but I will give them props for menu structure to satisfy the culinary curious. And if the veggie burger is truly amazing, well, I gotta try that!

Ive been. As I mentioned in the original Game thread the food was amazing. Both times the front of house and service left much to be desired. They seriously need to hire a business manager.

I remain a huge fan of Hammerheads though and have eaten there twice this week alone.

Thanks for the reminder, Doug. For what it's worth, there was zero evidence that I was "recognized," but I was happy with service and, as far as I could tell, no one around us was complaining, either.

We ate there last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a kangaroo burger along with a number of meatballs. They read them off to us but about 1 second later I had forgotten.

A simple fix would be a toothpick, color coded and a simple guide. Or a toothpick with a small flag describing which type it was.

Beer list was very good and the wine list looked thought out also.

parking is a nightmare. We parked across the street and had to run the lexington rd speedway gauntlet. Cares coming around the corner away from downtown can be going quite fast.

Well then I will simply say I hope things continue to improve for them.
At this point I will just stick with Hammerheads.

Finally made it over there, failed before due to no parking available. This time I decided to heck with it and walked from the Mid City Mall area down to Lexington Road on a weekday about 6PM. Round trip is about 2.5 miles but good for burning off a few calories and no worries about where to ditch a car. Interesting to note that the lot was full, as usual, but only about half the dining space was occupied. So if you see the lot is full that does not necessarily translate into a wait inside. I'd heard the good kitchen / poor service stuff from multiple sources not long after they opened. On my visit they were either having an "on" day or the problems have been worked out. The service was fine, as well as the meatballs & sweet potato fries. Between my wife buying game meat at Creekside Outpost & meals from the late, lamented Zephyr Cove, I'd tried meat from all the actual game options so I went with the relatively unadventurous trio of elk, venison & antelope. Mine weren't as big as tennis balls but were as big as they needed to be. I doubt it'll get into heavy rotation for us but I'll definitely be back as they did a good job.

We've been twice. Enjoyed it both times.
The Scotch Eggs are ammmmmaaazing. How they get the yolks to stay soft (they have explained it to me, but I could not duplicate it) even after frying is a wonder.
The orange sauce that they serve with the foie gras is wonderful, too. I'm a big fan of the kangaroo.
