Volare will be closed today through Tuesday for some freshening up and a sleek new look. the restaurant at 2300 Frankfort Ave. will reopen on Wednesday, July 17 at 5 p.m., with a special celebration toasting Chef Josh Moore and the culinary team on their return from James Beard House! Volare will offer specialty cocktails for $7 this evening at the bar.
An updated menu will offer many entrees featuring locally sourced ingredients, including several from Chef Josh’s 10-acre working farm in Taylorsville.
