Volare dinner at Beard House will be re-done here

Josh Moore, Executive Chef and Partner of Volare Italian Ristorante, has been invited to present a “Southern Inspired Italian Feast” at the James Beard House in New York on July 16. He will be accompanied by sous chef Seth Cunningham, assistant pastry chef Joel Poole and general manager and partner Tarek Hamada.

Volare will present a James Beard House Re-Creation Dinner at Volare Ristorante on Thursday, July 25, offering the same menu served at Beard House. Reservations are limited to one seating at 7 p.m.

Here’s the menu:

Hors d’oeuvres
Heirloom Melons with Col. Bill Newsom’s Aged Prosciutto
Baccalà Cakes with Caper, Tarragon, and Dijon Aïoli
Grilled White Truffle Béchamel Pizza with Mortadella and Baby Arugula
Savory Sheltowee Farm Mushroom, Caramelized Leek, and Pecorino Cheesecake
Goat Cheese and Rock Shrimp–Stuffed Peroni-Battered Squash Blossoms 

First course
