4th of July Restaurants

What Independents will be open 4th of July since not everyone has family to share a picnic with that day?

I don't recall Independence Day as a day when most restaurants close, doubly so with it being on a Thursday night this year. Some may have specials, though! I'll "pin" this post to the top of the forum until after the Fourth so any restaurants with special plans (or closing plans) can let us know here.

I've actually seen several places I follow on FB state they are going on vacation for a week that includes the 4th. Right now I can only remember The Cafe and Shady Lane, but there are several others.

Napa River Grill will be open for dinner only. Happy hour starts at 4:30 in both indoor and outdoor bars, with dinner service beginning in the dining room/patio at 5:00.

Bazo's Fresh Mexican Grill - Dupont will be open until 9pm on the Fourth of July.

Bazo's Downtown and UofL locations will be closed on Independence Day.

Selena's will be closed that day, and reopening Friday at 11:00. Happy Independence Day.

I think Sweet Surrender closes during this time if I remember correctly

Hilltop tavern is closed as well. Just when I was jonesing for one of their cheeseburgers before the David Byrne show.
El Mundo is open normal hours, 11:30-10. And it's Thursday, so $4 house margaritas.

Coals will be open from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
