One of Lexington's most popular food booths is opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant near Woodland Park.
La Petite Crêperie is scheduled to open Thursday and will serve food 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
Linda Chambers, who owns La Petite Crêperie with Shannon Arnold, said the restaurant at 191 Kentucky Avenue will allow the crêpe makers to offer an expanded menu, with more sweet and savory ingredients, salads and traditional French sandwiches, including croque-monsieur, a hot ham and cheese sandwich.
Prices will be $3.50 and $6, Chambers said.
The crêperie space was formerly the home of The 6 Friends Café, which incidentally also served crêpes.
Chambers, whose family owns restaurants in France, said the crêperie will continue its outdoor booth.
"We are French traditional," she said of the restaurant. "It's the fast-casual French experience introduced in Lexington."
