The best I came up with was a diner in Litchfield. It was strange to walk into a restaurant that still allowed smoking.

The only other place I know of, besides my Mamaw and Papaw's cabin when they're there, is Bee Spring Restaurant (I ate there when it was called Linda's). It's been years since I've eaten there- I remember a pretty simple menu- burgers and sandwiches, though it appears they've added more variety. But it was good and filling! They have a Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bee-Spri ... 1373082032

Not a whole helluva lot. The little restaurant at Wax marina does decent breakfast and a decent hamburger.

Really depends on where you are on the lake. My family has a place near Moutardier ( pronounced Moody Deer by pretty much everyone ) and there is a Red Roof BBQ in season, and Ralph's Market has a deli with fried chicken and grocery supplies to grill out, etc.

We always pack coolers and haul everything down from Louisville, or go to the Wal-mart and grocery shop and then go back to the house to cook. Eating at the lake is always an all day affair. You have first dinner, then second dinner and apps while you are making dinner :)

It's pretty annoying. I'm always torn on which way to place it in my advertising for homes. The way people would recognize the name or the correct spelling. Even the marina is torn... but knows which way they are going to get the most traffic.
