The Herald Leader has been covering these developments for some time. Contentious issues between parking authority, brick & mortar restaurants and the truck proponents.

There is definitely demand. Quite a few of our local trucks have been doing guest spots in Lexington and cleaning house. Country Boy Brews, and West 6th turn out big crowds when they have a truck in the lot.
