Soupy's is open again in Hikes Point

My name is Danny Bowling and I am the owner and founder of Soupy's. We
are into our 19th year and going strong. We have been closed for 9 months due to the
expansion of Kroger in Hikes Point. We moved from McMahan Plaza to 3027 Hunsinger
Ln. and just reopened a week ago. I sure would appreciate it if you would let
everyone know at louisvillehotbytes that we are reopened and stirring pots again. Stop in
and try any our homemade soups (my mother-in-law's recipes)!

Thanks for the update, Robin. I stopped by from time to time for their garden burgers (there are several options). It is a good fastfood option for vegetarians or anyone else looking for such an alternative. I guess I'll have to try their soup someday as well.

James - thanks for mentioning that Soupy's has several Garden Burger options. Just checked out their online menu and its great to see the variety that they offer.

By chance, anyone know if any of the soup options are also vegetarian? Looks like they offer veggie vegetable, cheesy potato, and broccoli soup but wasn't sure if they used meat stocks.

I used to run by Soupy's one a week or so when I lived over that way. The sandwiches and soups were always fresh and good. Haven't eaten there in years, but glad to hear they are still up and running. It was my fast, light and fresh option from the usual burger or chicken places.

Might have to find my way over there again and give them another try.

I'm glad I saw this. The menu looks good. They have a Benedictine and Bacon sandwich. Yeh.
