Hello everybody:

I miss Louisville, I have four more weeks to go. I'm glad that the strike is over here in Paris. Fernando

Hi Fernando,

Are you finding your way around the Arrondissement okay?

Which arrondissement are you living in?

I know the institute is in the 15th, is that where you are living also?

Bonsoir Robin how is Louisville, its night time here. Hi Heather I'm leaving in the 3 arrondissement really close to Notre Dame, The Louvre, just one block from Rue Rivoli that goes strait to Champs-Elysees. I'm loving Paris, but last week was really hard to move around because of the strike, I'm so glad is over. Fernando.

Hey Fernando,

If you go on Rue de Rivoli.... there is a somewhat quaint yet touristy place called "Angelinas" (some blocks from the Louvre on the right) after all the souvenir shops.

Angelinas has one of the best croissant, and hot chocolate ( amongst other things) They use granulated chocolate and not powder, and it is pretty thick and delish. Just right for dipping Churros!!! ha ha
They even sell it in the bag to take home.

I have a small video of this thick delicious stuff being poured at our table, but I cannot get it to upload, it is a Quicktime video.

If you get a chance and want to take a walk... go there, sit, and people watch, and have a cup of hot chocolate.

Bon Appetit!

Heather, you are so right about Angelina's hot chocolate. I brought back bags and bags of it for gifts and for myself- and I don't even like regular hot chocolate. I believe you can order it online from an American distributor.

Fernando- if you are around Luxemburg Gardens at all drop into Guy Mulot for the best pastries I've found. Or at least for a croissant since Mulot provides them to the French Senate. Sigh!

Fernando:

i finally made it out to Mojito last night, then remembered you were 'out of town'.

Everything was amazing.
Hope you have fun at school.

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

Thank you for the recommendations guys. I will try this places and if anybody knows of other places please let me know, its so ease to find mediocre food in Paris is you don't know where you are going. Thanks Heather and Gary.
Thank you so much Ethan, I'm glad you had a good time and enjoyed Mojito, I always worry about how everything is going , I guess that's just my nature. Thank you man it means a lot coming from you. Fernando
