Peaches?

Has anyone seen any out there yet? I'm starting to Jones hard for some juicy goodness

Paul's - the one in St. Matthews, at least - has had Georgia peaches for a week or two, but they're not excellent. Small and a little hard. You can ripen them at home, but they're not top quality that way.

Garden Gate Fruit Market has Georgia peaches as well.

EarthFare (Summit) has some excellent peaches right now. I'm ashamed got admit, I didn't look to see from where. ...

You just don't get great peaches until the tomatoes start coming in.

About when is the "season" for peaches? We have a peach (and plum) tree in our yard that is currently covered in small to medium sized greenies.. I can't wait for it to happen. Late summer?

It depends on the cultivar of peach. Around here they could be ripe anywhere from very late June- September.
