Paul's - the one in St. Matthews, at least - has had Georgia peaches for a week or two, but they're not excellent. Small and a little hard. You can ripen them at home, but they're not top quality that way.

EarthFare (Summit) has some excellent peaches right now. I'm ashamed got admit, I didn't look to see from where. ... :oops: :wink:

About when is the "season" for peaches? We have a peach (and plum) tree in our yard that is currently covered in small to medium sized greenies.. I can't wait for it to happen. Late summer?

It depends on the cultivar of peach. Around here they could be ripe anywhere from very late June- September.
