Boombozz Pizza & Taphouse to open in Jeffersonville

by Robin Garr » Mon Jun 03, 2013 6:42 pm

Boombozz Pizza & Taphouse will open its doors late this summer with a 195-seat capacity restaurant and bar with patio seating. The restaurant will be occupy 6,000 square feet in the Jeffersonville Town Center on Veterans Parkway.

Restaurant executive and franchisee Rich Cleaves chose Jeffersonville as an ideal location for the acclaimed restaurant which began in the St. Matthew’s area of Louisville in 1998. Cleaves has more than 30 years of experience in ownership and management of national restaurant chains. Boombozz will be owner operated.

“We are very excited to bring the Boombozz menu and atmosphere to the Southern Indiana market,” said Tony Palombino, found and chief executive officer of Boombozz Pizza & Taphouse.  “We currently have a loyal fan base from the Southern Indiana area and look forward to establishing a fun new alternative for dining and socializing. We also think this will evolve into a great place to hear live music from local musicians.”

BoomBozz Pizza & Taphouse, named one of the 50 best pizzas in the United States by Food Network, will offer its award-winning pizzas along with pastas, calzones and salads. For the after work and weekend crowds, Boombozz will host it’s very popular Social Hours featuring a $5 menu of select menu items and special pricing on craft beer, wine and signature cocktails.

Boombozz will house a separated bar area with extensive outdoor seating and live music. A strong emphasis will be put on highlighting local breweries through ongoing promotions and tasting events.
Boombozz will be open from 11am to 1am daily. Live music will be booked most evenings, and the full menu is available until closing.

I believe it is going in where Beef O 'Brady's was. Next to a credit union.
It's a rather small space, but at least we have another restaurant option. A good one at that!

At 6000 square feet, they will have a pretty good footprint in that building. I can't remember how big Beef's was, so I wonder if they are getting additional space from another spot in that building.

Got a bit of confirmation that they are taking over Beef's old spot and the location next door...

Old Beef O Bradys spot? Makes sense, Rich Cleeves is former/current Beefs franchisee.
