Fest of Ale

by Alan H » Sun Jun 02, 2013 11:31 am

Just wanted to give a shout out to Todd and co. for another great event!
I am usually getting my ass kicked on the river this time of year and missed this fest the last two years but was able to sneak away yesterday. :D
Great event for a great cause!

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

I expected a low turnout with potential weather, but it was a big crowd and went well.

Congrats to Todd and crew for pulling it off even better than before (I liked the layout too). And all the brewers who showed up too!

Thanks for the kind words. It was a very fun event yesterday, and I can't thank everyone who came out for it enough. After pouring over weather reports for the 3 days leading up to the event, I believe next year I'm simply not going to pay attention to them and not have the unnecessary stress....

For final numbers, we had just over 1400 people in attendance, and raised $10250 for the WHAS Crusade for Children.

A huge thank you to all the breweries, distributors, wineries, volunteers, family and co-workers for all their hard work yesterday.
