Wait, let me clarify: Tom + Chee in Louisville is the first chain-y expansion of a Cincinnati company. That we know. But I thought their first property in Louisville was the one on Bardstown Road. That's why the report about a St. Matthews branch being the first franchise was confusing to me.

The Bardstown Rd. one was the first one in Louisville. I wrote it up for HotBytes when it opened.
