I saw some on TV.

(We had a quiet Derby at home this year and were happy that way.

I saw Miranda Lambert at Walmart...well actually I saw some chubby blond chick who -looked- like Miranda Lambert.

The girl from Breaking Bad(don't know her name) was as a party I was catering Derby night.
I also stopped by Equus that recently had a new kitchen put in to say "Hi" to the gang there after my gig and saw Bo Derek who was with the guys who owned Golden Soul. She's still a really attractive woman!

I had a pretty lowkey Derby, so I did not see any celebs. However, a friend of my wife ran into Marcus Samuelsson at Macy's on Thursday before Oaks. DD

Oh wow- I love him! His book is probably the best chef biography I've ever read. I would have been totally blown away to run into him somewhere( and likely speechless - rare for me )

My friend and I went to the Macy's Culinary Council event on the Thursday before Oaks. Marcus Samuelsson and Michelle Bernstein were the guests and it was a good time. We had the chance to talk with them for a few minutes and they were both very engaging. The food was delicious and the Ghost Bourbon Mint Juleps were delightful!!!!
