Ideas for Graduation Dinner Celebration

by Ron Taglieri » Sun May 05, 2013 9:29 am

My daughter graduates high school on June 1st and will have family in from out of town with small children.

Looking for a good place to host a dinner for 8 adults and 3 small children. Last year, our family went to Buco di Beppo, which worked well, but would like to take family from out of town to a new place.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Ron

A few suggestions that would be great for your party with small kids that have pricing that would be close to Buca:

Selena's at Willow Lake Tavern
Captian's Quarters
Uptown Cafe
Mussel Burger Bar
Guaca Mole
KT's or Austin's
The Bristol

Ron,
We had my daughter's graduation dinner at Guaca Mole last year and it was a big hit. I would recommend both it and Mussel Burger- my son (8) loves both and other children do too. They are very kid friendly.

I'd second Selena's! Our grandchildren love to go there and they are very accommodating to little ones. The beautiful patio or the back area are great places for the kids to watch the fish pond and feed the fish. It's also great for grown-ups!!!

My kids (3&6) love both Guacamole and Mussel and Burger. M&B has a private room that you may be able to get depending on the size of your party. Some of the Bristols also have private rooms I believe. At least the one downtown does.
