Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Brown Hotel

On Sunday, May 12, the Brown Hotel will offer two fabulous options to spoil your mom this Mother’s Day. Diners can enjoy a brunch buffet at J. Graham’s Café with seating in the morning and afternoon. The English Grill will have the ultimate extravagance mid-day with everything from crab cakes to filet mignon. To make reservations, call (502) 583-1234.

J. Graham’s Café will be featuring a full spread of brunch favorites from a luscious sweet potato cappuccino to a wide assortment of bright salads, fresh-baked breads and breakfast pastries. A waffle station with all the fixings like chocolate bits, whipped cream, roasted fruits and sweet sauces and an omelet bar with indulgent add-ons are included in the buffet. Carved rib-eye au jus, herbed chicken breast, and oven-baked salmon are among the main course options. Last but not least, chocolate bread pudding, mini cannoli, cheesecake and strawberry tartlets aplenty are on the dessert table. Cost is $36 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Children ages 4-12 are $18. Seating is available at 11:30 and 11: 45 a.m. and 1:15 and 1:30 p.m.

Make reservations in the English Grill for an exceptional Mother’s Day brunch with even more offerings! Seafood lovers will adore offerings of Chesapeake-style crab cakes, bourbon-smoked salmon and lobster spring rolls. Assorted quiches and pastries will fill a breakfast table next to a bountiful spread of Kentucky Proud treasures from local farmers. Entrée choices include filet mignon, seared ahi tuna and grilled lamb chops. A separate menu of options for kids includes chicken tenders, petit filet and macaroni and cheese. Finish at the Viennese dessert display that’s sure to please with peach crumble, hazelnut opera cake, chocolate mousse and crème brûlée. Cost is $62 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Children ages 4-12 are $20. Seating is available at 12, 12:30 and 1 p.m.
